TRP Colors fading for Jaane Kya Baat Hui
According to a source Colours, extra marital affair show, Jaane Kya Baat Hui which was recently shifted to the 6.30 slot might now be pushed to the channel’s upcoming afternoon band, whenever it starts. The source says that the preparation is already there by having an afternoon repeat.
This big ticket Cinevista’s show starring Shweta Tiwari, Sanjit Bedi and Anubhav Shukla was first aired at the 10.30 pm slot where it was having a rating of 2+. But according to our source the channel pushed it to the 6.30 pm, for they wanted a show which brings in around 4/5 TRP for the 10.30 slot. “The battle between STAR and Colors has really heated up with Yeh Rishta rising over Ballika Badhu,” reminds the source.
The source further points out that Jaane Kya Baat Hui is even getting 0.8 at the early evening, hence if it is pushed to afternoon band and the story is tweaked to make it more regressive i.e., Shweta pulls stunts to win her husband( Sanjit)’s affection back, it might get enough number’s to sustain it in the afternoon band. The show can’t survive long in its current slot, hence it will either be moved to the afternoon slot or be taken off air and the production house will surely lobby to keep it on air, ends the source
