Star Plus boycott awards on Colors

It’s raining awards this month. With Star Parivaar Awards on the roll, their competitive channel is also set to air an award function felicitating actors of small screen. The latest development is that now the former has boycott the award function as it will be airing on their rival channel.

“Star Plus has been No.1 channel since past 8 years. Now that COLORS have taken over their position, definitely there was a hitch. Thus the former decided to prohibit the award function,” confirms out khabroo from COLORS.

Star has ordered their celebs of not to attend the awards. “There are many celebs from the Star Plus who has been nominated for the award function but as per the ordered given by the channel none of them will be attending it,” adds the source from the channel (Star Plus).

Now only time will decide of whether the stars of star plus will show up or not. Keeping glued to the channel if you want to know it. For now all we can say is that the latest burning hot topic to discuss is the wars between the channels in order to win the race.

Colors is also coming up with the awards which will just see the faces of the channel. So it can be said that yeh barabar ki takkar hai. – Sampurn
