Deepika hates size zero
The size zero trend, which was made popular by Kareena Kapoor’s Tashan act, doesn’t seem to be a favorite with Deepika and the gorgeous actress claims to be strictly against it.
Fashionable Kareena Kapoor rocks B-town
Kareena Kapoor, the once childish tantrum prone actress has grown up to become a classy trendsetter in the industry. From the overbearing and outlandishly dressed Poo of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham she has graduated to an acting powerhouse with Jab We Met and has put the beauty queens to shame with her ‘size zero’ figure in Tashan. With her every move traced by paparazzi, Kareena is a superstar in the truest sense of word. A muse for many a fashion designer, this Kapoor kudi would rather die than be seen in filp-flops as its only YSL or Christian Louboutin for her, and if it has to be a slipper then it is from Hermes and they are meant to be worn at home!

Feature: Hot Bolly Divas in Bikini rule Box Office!
Skin show has always been a selling element for B-town filmmakers. Indian culture may boast of sati-savitri Bhartiya nari, or crib about the adaptation of western culture in recent times, but the truth is- our film fraternity has been modern and contemporary in its thoughts and ways since the 60’s. Remember the sensuous Sharmila Tagore of An evening in Paris in the 60’s. An icing on the cake was when she donned a bikini on the cover page of a renowned magazine. The unmatchable oomph-factor of another diva Parveen Babi ruled the roost in 70’s, with her amazing style quotient in bikini. Then, came the voluptuous, yet sexy, Bikini-clad Zeenat Aman in her films such as Qurbani, Pukaar and Dostana.
Imran’s heart position unlucky for LUCK!
Yet another biggie has fallen on its face. ‘Luck’, touted to be the next action hit, has been a disappointment at box-office.
The weekend collections in India read a mere 12 crores which isn’t quite heartening considering the fact that a- the film boasted of number of top stars and b- the film had been given a major release.
Lara Dutta gets in bikini for Yash Raj next
The latest buzz in B-town is that the beauty queen Lara Dutta is all set to do the next project of Yash Raj films. The project is yet untitled but the actress is working hard to get the glam and size zero look for the film.
As per the sources, “Lara will be wearing a bikini in the film for which she has been working hard to get the very slim figure.”
Superstar, no matter what
Successful actors in tinsel town are referred to as STARS. No matter how bad a hit their films take at box-office, they, like real heroes come out unscathed, winning a million hearts by their sheer Star presence.
So we wonder does the success or failure of the films affect its stars.
The box-office report definitely makes a difference in the Star power. But then, we have a unique league of actors, very few of their kind in Bollywood who held their ground. Come what may, for them success or failure all became a part of the rat race which was long left behind.
Saif and Kareena’s Secret Pact
Saif has made a promise to Kareena. He’ll have a double celebration for the success of Kareena’s release Kambhakkt Ishq and his own Love Aaj Kal. But if, God forbid Kareena’s film doesn’t do well, there will be no celebration for Love Aaj Kal.
Saif On The Dilemma Of Doing Torrid Love Scenes With Kareena
Doing love scenes with Kareena for Rensil d’Silva’s film was not as easy as Saif would have thought.
How far to go with the comfort level? That was Saif’s dilemma. Though they’ve acted together in J.P Dutta’s LOC and Yashraj Films’ Tashan, Saif Ali Khan had so far not done intimate scenes with his lady-love Kareena.
Yash Raj Films goes ballistic with ‘New York’
Yash Raj Films has never been known for getting aggressive when it comes to the promotion of their films. However, they changed their strategy in 2008 when they heavily promoted ‘Tashan’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ followed by ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. While ‘Tashan’ tanked (for all the right reasons), the other two went on to be successful at the box office. In the same year, Yash Raj Films also had ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ and ‘Roadside Romeo’. Perhaps the production house was aware about the kind of products they had in their hands and refrained from spending any extra moolah in bringing the films to the audience. Result? Both the flicks were super flops.
