Tiger, Jackie Shroff’s son is gearing up for his Bollywood debut with none other than Subhash Ghai, who also launched his father into Bollywood with Hero (1983). And his debut will be the remake of Hero.

With awards raining at the 8th PIFF, 2010, curtains come down

The curtains came down on the 8th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) 2010 at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir with Dr. Jabbar Patrel, director of the festival declaring that PIFF which is the official film festival of Maharashtra government has finally grown by leaps and bounds. Lara Dutta was seen at the concluding function and Arjun Rampal was seen at the lavish party hosted by Suresh Kalmadi , Chairman of Pune International Film Festival at the Foodlink Court were the only two who represented Bollywood in Pune, besides Atul Kulkarni, Nagesh Bhosle and Renuka Shahane

The two were seen spending time together at the party. Looks like you really can’t afford to goof up when it comes to the big league, eh?

Subhash Ghai hasn’t been called the Showman for nothing. On his 65th birthday on Saturday evening Ghai pulled off what the original Showman Raj Kapoor had done in Mera Naam Joker. In the declining year of his long and chequered career Ghai invited all the actors from all his films beginning with Kalicharan and concluding with Black and White and Yuvraaj in 2008.
