Sonam Kapoor chosen for Mausam

Pankaj Kapur’s ‘Mausam’ had a number of contenders for the female lead opposite his son, Shahid, like Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi, Govinda’s daughter Narmada, and Alyque Padamsee’s daughter Shazahn Padamsee. However, looks like it’s going to be Sonam Kapoor who takes away the cake.

While she is debuting with Salman Khan in Dabangg, Boney Kapoor has signed her on for his next film. Not only that, she will also play the female lead in Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam, starring Shahid Kapoor.

Mahie Gill bags Salman Khan Starrer

Dev D gal Mahie Gill seems to be fast moving up the success ladder in Bollywood, despite being two-three films old she has managed to bag a Salman Khan starrer.

It is learnt from industry sources that she has been signed on for Arbaaz Khan’s maiden production Dabangg starring Salman Khan and Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha. This film is being directed by writer-director Anurag Kashyap’s younger brother Abhinav Kashyap. She however is paired opposite Arbaaz Khan in the film and not Salman.

Sonakshi Finally Says Yes To Salman’s Film

Will she, won’t she? Shatrughan and Punam Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi was offered a role by Salman in a film to be produced by Arbaaz Khan.

But Sonakshi, apparently in two minds about a film career, decided not to do it. She had studied fashion designing and that’s what she wanted to pursue as a career.
