Friends Film Academy’s film begins shooting

The shooting of a film directed by Shravan Bapatla and produced by Boddam Indrasena @ Indra on the banner of Friends Film Academy, was launched at Annapurna Studios recently. Indra of ‘Kurkure’-fame, is again playing the hero and is producing the movie, while Bindu and Sri Anjani are playing the female leads. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna gave the clap, while the hero’s paternal uncle Gade Rajasekhar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of Satya of ‘Ooha Chitram’-fame. Speaking on the occasion, director says, ‘The film has a different subject. There is a special trick called ‘Parusavedi’ with which we can produce gold. Our film based on this ‘Parusavedi’ trick. At the same time it is a beautiful love story, with suspense in the backdrop.’ Indra says, ‘I played small time roles in over 20 films so far and turned a hero with ‘Kurkure’ and I personally shared the production too.

This time, I got a very interesting story so I had decided to produced it on my own and play solo hero in this movie. We will begin the regular shooting from May 18 in Ramoji Film City and complete the entire talkie in a single schedule. Songs would be choreographed in the next schedule.’ Jeeva, MS Narayana, Surya, Kondavalasa, Uttej, Arun, Pruthvi, Duvvasi Mohan, Veerendra Chouhan, Sudarshan, Jenny, Kavita, Devisri, Jagadeeswari, Jayavani, Vijaya Reddy and others are in the cast. Camera is by Shammu V Prabhakar, music is by Y Satya, lyrics are by Patla Yadagiri, Shravan Bapatla, while Pan America is presenting the film.
