Pazhassi Raja wins most of the AMMA awards

At the recently held Annual Malayalam Movie Awards, Pazhassi Raja took away the cake. While it received the best movie award, the lead actress of the film, Kanika, got the best actress award. The best direction award went to Hariharan and the best screenplay award to Vasudevan Nair. Resul Pookutty and Amritha Preetham won awards for the best sound while Ilayaraja and Padmapriya were awarded the best music director and a special award respectively. -Sampurn
