Karthi replaces Surya in K.V. Anand’s next

‘Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero’. Indeed this fantastic statement reveals much about Surya and his younger bro Karthi, who have been ennobled as ‘Best brothers in tinsel town’. It’s worth mentioning that Surya had personally recommended Karthi for ‘Paruthiveeran’.

Of course, the debut film turned entire spotlights on Karthi and instantaneously he won more offers from biggies like Selvaraghavan and Lingusamy. After completing both the films: Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and Lingusamy’s ‘Paiyya’, the actor has already commenced his next project ‘Naan Mahan Alla’ directed by Vennila Kabadi Kulu fame Susindhran.

Meanwhile, his elder brother Surya has again recommended him for K.V. Anand’s next project. Earlier, the cinematographer turned director wanted to join hands with Surya after the success of ‘Ayan’. However, as Surya is quite busy till the end of next year, (Singam, Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Raktha Charithra’ and A.R.Murugadoss’ trilingual movie) he has got Karthi into deal.
