Noor quick movie review: Sonakshi Sinha totally rocks as the bumbling journalist in this breezy chick flick

It is always refreshing to see a celebrity play the life of a journalist onscreen. Sonakshi Sinha has done the same in Noor and so far, our critic, Sreeju Sudakaran has no qualms with it. Check out what he thinks of the film based on its first half –

“Sonakshi Sinha is the main lead in this week’s major release, Noor. It is an adaptation of the fiction best-seller ‘Karachi, you are killing me!’ by Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz. Noor Roy Chaudhary, played by Sonakshi, is a struggling journalist whose struggles are more related to that she can’t do anything meaningful about her profession. She feels she gets ignored at her workforce, at her home and in life. Also, yeah, she is troubled by her geyser problems, her weight issues and that it has been some time she got some action. But she has two besties who rule her life. Her boss sends off to do an interview with Sunny Leone on her birthday that she screws up with her lack of interest.
