The Saturdays’s star performs in wheel chair

During a stage show held in Dundee, Scotland on Wednesday (03June09), Vanessa White, a member of British girl band The Saturdays had to perform in a wheel chair after taking a nasty tumble backstage. Along with her bandmates, Vanessa was pacing towards the stage when she tripped over a wire. The 19 year old was rushed for medical help while the other girls were forced to start the gig without her. But doctors put her leg in a cast and White was wheeled onstage before the end of the concert to perform. She told the crowd, “Thank you so much to everybody. I twisted my ankle. One minute I was there and the next I was off.’ – Sampurn
