Salt Director Plans A Sequel With Ben Affleck And Tom Cruise

Angelina Jolie is still busy in promoting her recently released action movie Salt and the director Philip Noyce has already started planning for a sequel of the movie. Noyce wants Tom Cruise and Ben Affleck to feature in Salt 2.

Initially, the character of Evelyn Salt, played by Jolie was made for Tom Cruise, who refused it saying that it was almost same like his character in Mission Impossible.

Noyce said, “We will hopefully have the sequel in a couple of years. Angelina has done a great job as the lead character and audience would realize that it’s just the beginning when they watch the film”.

He added, “I feel we should include Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise’s character in Mission Impossible) and Jack Ryan (Ben Affleck’s character in The Sum of All Fears) in the sequel. They will be chasing down Salt”.

Well, if this salty dream of Noyce comes true, it will be interesting to watch Tom chasing Jolie! –Sampurn
