Irrfan had got injured while shooting Pan Singh Tomar

It is learnt that actor Irrfan Khan had torn the ligament of his right ankle while he was shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Pan Singh Tomar few weeks back. He had then immediately returned to Mumbai following which his doctor ruled out any action.

Our source reveals, “This happened many weeks back but Irrfan is now fit and fine. But since it was a ligament tear, doctors had advised rest for hi and therefore few days all his shootings had been stopped. Though Pan Singh Tomar’s shooting in Rourkee has been completed and one more schedule is still left, which will take place in a month’s time.”

Pan Singh Tomar tells the true story of a steeple chase athlete who came out of a dacoit struck area to make a name for himself but returned to his hometown only to pick up arms and turn into a dacoit. Irrfan plays the title role with Mahie Gill of Dev D and Gulaal fame playing his wife.-Sampurn
